With readers all over the world, Jim Towers receives emails from all places in the United States and from as far away as Australia, the Philippines, Africa, Canada, Alaska and even China.
In his articles on major websites, he tells stories of the exploits he experiences in his ongoing ministry. Stories of miracles, conversions and his over forty years in the movie industry. Jim has worked on stage in leading roles, television, and commercials and in major motion pictures as a character actor.
In his newly released book,” Visions, Miracles, Peace and Power”, he tells unbelievable outlandish and supernatural stories of life on the mean streets of Miami, Hollywood, Detroit, and other parts of the country and the Western Hemisphere.
Jim excelled in artwork and sang fearlessly before his peers in grade school and became an avid reader and remains so today. For work, he started out as a paperboy in Lansing, Michigan at age twelve and went on to become a certified welder like his dad and he worked as a free-lance artist.
On a lark, in Florida he auditioned for the role of playboy doctor Dr. Roth in the play “Take my Wife” and won the role. After the play ended, he was encouraged by Charles Livingston, the retired director of the Lone Ranger series on radio and television, to enroll in drama studies at the University of Miami. Jim acted on that advise, which began an acting career that spanned over forty years as a professional actor. His writing began twenty years into his acting career, during which he wrote several screenplays, one of which became a blockbuster after being plagiarized by the Hollywood Cabal.
After a second divorce (due to his turning down a big contract with a tobacco company who wanted him to appear in the lead of a national tobacco commercial) and feeling that he had nothing to live for, it was then that God called him into the ministry. A despondent Jim stopped everything and seeing a great need, became a “Steet Minister”. Now he would live for others.
After many years Jim got his bearings and continued his work in the entertainment industry and coupled with his ministry He began contributing essays to two world famous websites Rapture Ready and Drop Zone Delta.
A benefactor in England, J.B. (a most talented web designer), offered to build him a website of his own. Today that website is known as “www.propheticsignsandwonders.com.” Not only that, but this dynamic man published Jim’s first book detailing his incredible and supernatural life story in “Visions, Miracles, Peace and Power.”
